Corinne Sovey is a graphic designer, textile artist, and color enthusiast. Her colorful quilts blend the graphic patterns of the design world with the time-honored tradition of patchwork. With great attention to detail, each quilt is designed with graphic purpose and balance. She aims to make contemporary quilts inspired by design, but achievable by today’s quilter. Her work has been juried into several Quiltcons, as well as the Modern Quilt Exhibit at Houston International Quilt Festival. Her piece, Under The Radar, won first place in the piecing category at Quiltcon West in 2016. She is a member of the Austin Modern Quilt Guild.
