About the Presenters Marsha MacDowell, Ph.D. is Professor and Curator of Folk Arts and Quilt Studies at Michigan State University Museum and is the Director of The Quilt Index. She has authored numerous publications on quilt history. Beth Donaldson has been a quiltmaker for over 40 years, has authored 4 publications on quilting, and is the Associate Director of the Quilt Index.
