Page Content:

Sometimes, it’s not all fun and quilting. In this leadership webinar, we will discuss dealing with discord among members and how to manage difficult situations. Learn tips for arranging the best compromise for everyone involved while dealing with undermining individuals and negativity in the group. There will be plenty of time for questions and discussion. This session will be conducted by a conflict resolution professional, Jodi McLaughlin, co-founder and past president of the Pittsburgh Modern Quilt Guild.

Jodi McLaughlin co-founded the Pittsburgh Modern Quilt Guild in 2012 and served as the guild's first president. She is presently a member of the Austin Modern Quilt Guild, serving on its charity committee, and sits on the MQG's Leadership Committee, which presented the first-ever Leadership Conference in 2015. Jodi's professional career has been mostly within non-profit administration and library management, which has provided some experience in conflict resolution and negotiating difficult situations. Her current role within the Carnegie Museums of Pittsburgh focuses on donor relationship management and research.
