By itself, this block may look simple, but when added to more Intersection blocks, the real beauty emerges as the secondary designs appear. The most charming aspect of the block is its simplicity which makes it perfect for beginner and advanced quilters alike.

Margo has been quilting for almost 20 years, mostly self-taught. She and her friends often made baby rag quilts for expecting mothers at church. After making a dozen or more of those, she came up with a new technique for rag quilts called Faux Rag Quilting. Her book, ‘Soft & Cozy Keepsakes - Faux Rag Quilting’, was published by the AQS in 2016. Later that year, she attended an event at her local quilt shop, The Quilt Emporium, where Alissa Haight Carlton was a guest speaker. There she got bitten by the Modern Quit bug and never looked back. Shortly after that, she joined the Valley MQG where she’s very happy to be among her quilter friends. She loves her quilting community. She is known among friends for her minimalist style. She loves bold, simple geometric shapes in quilting. She continues to have her works published in various magazines. She recently placed second in the Mid-Century Modern category in the Mid Atlantic Quilt Show.
