Join Karlee and the MQG for a fun webinar where Karlee will show you all about the popular free-motion quilting technique, graffiti quilting. Graffiti quilting is the act of rebellion in quilting form — consisting of super dense over-stitching, taking and combining many different quilting motifs into one cohesive piece, and creating a style that is completely unique to each quilt and each quilter. Karlee will show some of her quilts and talk about the history of graffiti quilting.

Karlee Porter is best known for her free-motion quilting style graffiti quilting. She has been an artist all her life, a quilter since 2009, and a quilting teacher since 2014. She is a published author, and is international known for her teaching retreats. Not only does she travel to teach, but she also teaches free-motion quilting classes online. In addition to writing and teaching, Karlee has also developed a library of more than 1200 computerized quilting designs as well as hundreds of ready-to-quilt custom printed fabric panels. She really tries to include everyone with everything she does. She resides in Utah (a Utah native) with her husband Andrew, her son Nate, and her Yorkie, Macho. When she isn’t quilting, she loves to cook, be outside, and she is also a hand-lettering fiend. You can see more of her work on IG @karleeporterdesign, on Facebook under the same name, or her website www.KarleePorter.com.
