Sea Glass Herringbone by Claire Jain, 2013

I credit the existence of this quilt to my husband, who insisted I test a pattern I was creating with pretty fabrics rather than scraps from the muslin pile. I pulled fabrics based on a color palette that Kati Spencer used in a quilt she shared on the Lily's Quilts blog. This herringbone pattern is made without half-square triangles, because I have no patience for trimming them! This quilt was featured in the book Lucky Spool's Essential Guide to Modern Quilt Making, compiled by Susanne Woods. Austin, Texas, United States 60" x 29"
